Came across this really useful article put out by Tranquility Farms TB’s. Its about what to expect when bringing home your new ex-racer and how to introduce them to a more normal life. Good info.
I have added more video clips to WionaChamp’s page. It is kind of boring, but gives you a chance to see how well-behaved she always is. There are also some good conformational shots in the cross-ties video.
Came across this blog while looking for information on chickens, which for some reason is how I spend most of my days on the internet. It’s not all about chickens of course, a lot of gardening tips, specifically for Urban environments of which people do not have access to vast tracks of land to plant whatever they fancy. Well worth taking a look at.
I was there to film Lady’s riding session on Wednesday, 7/30/08. I was able to film her being lunged, but I ran out of room to film the actual riding. I’ll go back in another week or so and get some footage of her actually under saddle.
Video footage of WionaChamp and DonaChamp is now available for viewing.
Finally, he makes it out alive. He reunites with his family and goes back to browsing for leaves.
We began the complicated process of trying to get his misshapen horns through the fence boards.
I was there to take pictures today while Lady was worked by the trainer. She’s looking really good under saddle and moving very nicely.
